Revel Communities culinary teams have another healthy and delicious recipe for you to try. Dark chocolate contains up to 2-3 times more flavanol-rich cocoa solids than milk chocolate that may protect your heart. These same flavanols help to relax the blood vessels and improve blood flow, thereby lowering blood pressure. Check out Chef Scott’s demo and full recipe below. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
Serves 12
2 ½ lb pomegranate seeds
5 ⅓ oz dark chocolate
1 tbsp sea salt
DIRECTIONS
Slowly melt chocolate in a double boiler until it is just melted. Do not overheat.
In muffin cups or on parchment paper, sprinkle a layer of pomegranate seeds.
Add the melted dark chocolate to a piping bag or plastic bag. Snip off the end so only a small stream of chocolate can come out. Pipe a crisscross pattern of chocolate across the pomegranate seeds. Add another layer of pomegranate seeds.
Finish with a pinch of sea salt on the top.
Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
